History

The Hole n Run opened for business on October 4, 1979, at 96 Washington Avenue in Wheeling, West Virginia, just two doors from the present address of 46 Washington Avenue. Our family run business has been in the Ohio Valley for over 30 years. Our first objective was to provide pro line golf equipment and technical running shoes and equipment at a competitive price. We distinguished ourselves from the competition by providing the finest technical advice possible to the customer in both product categories.

On Tuesday, June 19, 1992, the Hole n Run burned to the ground. While this was a devastating blow to our business, there was never a question that we would reopen for business. In a short period of time, our doors reopened at 46 Washington Avenue and we were again working to provide our customers with the finest product and services.

Through the years, the Hole n Run has expanded and diversified. We continue to provide the highest quality customer service and products in the golf and running industry. In addition, we now service the team and institutional apparel market. We have added a nine head embroidery station and automatic screenprint service. All these services are housed at our Washington Avenue location. We now can provide custom uniforms and apparel to your team, social organization or business. These products also come at a competitive price and the customer support our patrons have come to expect.

The Staff at the Hole n Run prides itself on our loyal and repeat customer base. We are a proud member of our community and look forward to continuing to support the various causes in our area.
